GATES PASS SUNSET

While we were in Tucson, our AirBnb hosts let us know about Gates Pass - the best local sunset spot. It was breathtaking. You will definitely want to get there a bit early, as there are not many parking spots available. You can watch the sunset from the parking lot, or you can hike up a bit and find a more private spot. We hiked up to the small shelter, which has a table if you want to bring dinner.

You’ll think that the sun has set, but stay a few more minutes because the oranges, pinks, and yellows will become even more brilliant.

A sunset at Gates Pass is definitely a must-see if you’re ever in Tucson! We can’t wait to go back!
